Overturned Semi Closes Hwy 30

(McCAMMON) – An overturned semi closed a section of U.S. Highway 30 east of McCammon Friday afternoon. Idaho State Police say 53-year-old Kenneth Gibbs of Morefield, Ontario was hauling a load of frozen onions when he swerved to miss a deer, causing the truck to tip over. Gibbs was taken to Portneuf Medical Center with minor injuries. Cleanup crews spent several hours on the scene, and no other vehicles were involved.
