(BLACKFOOT, ID)  —  July 4th is just around the corner, and local law enforcement officials are already warning about illegal fireworks.  Officials say the rules are largely still the same, bottle rockets and Roman candles are still banned.  With the dry conditions, the risk of fire is still a major problem.  However, most sparklers, fountains, and ground-based fireworks are still legal.  Idaho Falls’ firework stands will open up June 24, Blackfoot’s will open June 25, and Pocatello’s will open June 28.  Rexburg’s stands have been open since last Friday.
