Shelley Credit Union Robbed Tuesday Afternoon

(SHELLEY, ID)  — Bingham County Sheriff Dave Johnson is investigating a bank robbery Tuesday afternoon at the East Idaho Credit Union.     Sheriff Johnson says a man appearing to be in his late teens or early 20’s entered the branch on West Fir around 4pm.   The individual was said to be wearing a red hoodie, had on a black hat and sunglasses.   Witnesses say he did escape on foot.   The Sheriff believes a recent stolen car may somehow be connected to the robbery.   That car is a 1998 Black Isuzu Rodeo, with Idaho plates 8BY 3168.   No other information has been made available.
