Snooki and JWoww Talk Pregnancy, “Jersey Shore” and Spin-Off

Craig Barritt/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — MTV premieres its Jersey Shore spin-off Snooki & JWoww, starring Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Thursday night at 10 p.m. Eastern time.
The Jersey Shore starlets stopped by Good Morning America on Wednesday to discuss their new show, which features the guidette BFFs moving in together in an apartment in Jersey City, N.J.
The series took a creative turn when Snooki got the surprise news she was expecting, and Polizzi admitted she hesitated telling her best friend as she knew the impact it could have on their relationship, and their show.
“I waited a little bit because I did want to move in with her, but I didn’t want to scare her,” Snooki said. “So at the last moment I’m like, ‘I’m pregnant. Okay, let’s do this.'”
While Snooki is known for her booze-fueled Jersey Shore high-jinks, JWoww insists her little friend is on the straight and narrow.
“She definitely did a 180,” JWoww told GMA. “I don’t want to say grew up the hard way, but kinda’ did, just like overnight. No more drinking, smoking, partying. It was over with the day she found out she was pregnant…I’ve never seen someone embrace pregnancy the way that she has.”
As for Jersey Shore, shooting on season six is currently underway in Jersey now that the girls’ spin-off is in the can. So what can fans expect?
“So far so good,” JWoww said. “But it’s definitely a big wait and see.”
Snooki added, “You never know, it’s the shore.”
