(EAST IDAHO)  —  A synthetic form of methamphetamine known as “Bath Salts” is a growing problem in eastern Idaho.  Idaho State Police say the drug is so powerful that it has the potential to cause extreme violence and suicidal thoughts.  They say the drug is currently unregulated like the synthetic form of marijuana known as “spice” and is much more dangerous than meth.  The recent attack involving a Miami man eating on his victim’s face is believed to have been caused by the same drug.
