TRPTA Moving to Fixed Routes

(IDAHO FALLS) – Public transportation in Idaho Falls is about to get a lot simpler. Local News 8 reports that TRPTA is looking to establish a series of fixed routes by this October, rather than their current deviated routes. Authorities say buses will run regular routes with established checkpoints instead of picking up passengers at home. Still, the new routes aren’t set in stone. TRPTA plans to hold more public meetings to gather input in the coming months.
