US Plays to a Scoreless Draw with Canada
Published at(TORONTO) — The U.S. men’s soccer team played to a 0-0 draw with Canada, in their exhibition game Sunday night.
The Canadians had a goal waved off in the 34th minute because a foul was called on a Canadian player.
The tie extends the Americans unbeaten streak versus the Canadians to 15 straight games, and it now holds a 13-8-10 lead in the series.
In the last two weeks, the Americans have beaten Scotland 5-1 and lost to Brazil 4-1.
The game was the last tune-up for the Americans before their World Cup qualifying game on June 8 against Antigua and Barbuda in Tampa Bay, Florida.
