Airplane Crashes Near Rockford Airport
(ROCKFORD) – A single-engine airplane crashed Monday after its pilot tried to make an emergency landing at the Rockford airport. The plane, which was owned by AvCenter Aviation Services of Pocatello, lost power shortly before 10 a.m. and crashed in a grain field about a mile south of the landing strip. The pilot, Bobby Picker, and passenger Craig Hansen, both of Idaho Falls, walked away without serious injury.
