Boll And The Blue Jackets Agree To A New 2-Year Deal
Andy Devlin/NHLI via Getty Images(COLUMBUS, Ohio) -- The Columbus Blue Jackets and forward Jared Boll agreed to a new two-year contract Saturday, worth $2.1 million. The deal will pay the 26-year-old Boll $950,000 in 2012-13 and $1.15 million in 2013-14.
“Jared is a hard-working, honest player who gives everything he has every time he steps on the ice,” said Blue Jackets general manager Scott Howson. “He has also been a great ambassador in our community and we are happy that he will continue to be a Blue Jacket.”
The Blue Jackets selected Boll in the fourth round of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. In 345 career games, Boll has 22 goals and 24 assists.
