California Woman Killed in I-15 Crash

(MALAD) – A California woman was killed Sunday afternoon during a single-car accident along I-15 near Malad. 55-year-old Linda Ellen Hanson was a passenger in a vehicle driven by 55-year-old Carol Bassett, also of California. Investigators say Bassett drifted off the left side of the road, overcorrected and rolled the vehicle. Hanson was partially ejected and died at the scene. Bassett and another passenger were transported to Portneuf Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
