Cheney Speaks Out From Jackson Ranch

(JACKSON, Wyo.) – Former Vice President Dick Cheney has spoken out for the first time since his heart transplant. Cheney told an ABC reporter at his ranch in Jackson that it was a mistake for the John McCain to pick Sarah Palin as his running mate in 2008. Still, Cheney was critical of the current administration’s policies, voicing his support for GOP frontrunner Mitt Romney. Cheney, who differs from many Republicans by supporting gay marriage, says he won’t attend year’s GOP convention.
