Cissy Houston Refuses Room at Hotel Where Whitney Died
(LOS ANGELES) -- Whitney Houston's mother, Cissy Houston, performed a tribute to her late daughter at the BET Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
Earlier in the weekend, she was reminded of Whitney's death after she was booked at the Beverly Hilton hotel, where the singer was found unconscious back in February.
According to TMZ.com, Cissy felt uncomfortable with the idea of staying at the hotel, so arrangements were made to put her up in another hotel. However, the website says Cissy at some point in the future wants to visit the room where Whitney died in order to gain closure.
