DirecTV, Viacom Settle Dispute
Published at(NEW YORK) — DirecTV and Viacom have settled a dispute that took channels like Nickelodeon, Comedy Central and MTV off the air on July 10.
In a statement issued Friday morning, DirecTV said the companies reached a “long-term agreement” to restore each of the 17 Viacom channels customers lost as a result of the controversy ten days ago.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
