Fireworks Leave Fire Crews Busy
(FORT HALL) – Fireworks likely played a role in at least three separate fires in eastern Idaho Wednesday night. Crews responded to a fire east of the Fort Hall exit at around 11 p.m. Less than an hour later, the Pocatello Fire Department responded to a grass fire in a vacant lot behind Taco Time on Yellowstone. Another grass fire was reported at around the same time along the 1100 block of Booth Road. Authorities say there were also several reports of illegal fireworks being used within the Pocatello city limits.
