Fireworks Major Concern in Pocatello

(POCATELLO, ID)  — Law enforcement officials in Pocatello are cracking down on fireworks this week.  Dozens of complaints about fireworks were filed in the Gate City over the weekend, and authorities are enforcing a zero tolerance policy through the Fourth of July holiday.  The risk of wildfire remains high for most of the region, with the total number of homes lost in the Charlotte Fire at 66. Investigators are still trying to determine what caused the fire that displaced more than a thousand people last Thursday.  The fire was 80 percent contained as of Sunday night.
