“I am excited not only because it’s my second win here,” Castroneves told Performance Racing Network in victory lane.  “I knew coming to Edmonton we’ve got to execute, now it’s our hands and I just can’t thank Team Penske enough.”

Hunter-Reay finished in seventh after winning the pole but started in 11th due to an engine change.

“We didn’t lose too much, I guess, but when two guys who are fighting for the championship finish on the podium, it is not very satisfying,” Hunter-Reay said, who now only leads by 23 points. “We have a lot of racing to go, we need to be strong across the board. This was definitely a bruise today, but it didn’t knock us down, by any means.”

Will Power finished in third and is now third in the points standings.
