“Homeland,” “Game of Thrones” Win Top Honors at TCA Awards

SQUARESPACE CACHEVERSION=1343640733873Hemera/Thinkstock(BEVERLY HILLS, Calif.) — Showtime’s Homeland was named outstanding new program and HBO’s Game of Thrones program of the year at the Television Critics Association’s 28th annual TCA awards Saturday night in Beverly Hills, Calif. 

Homeland actress Claire Danes won the TCA Award for individual achievement in a drama.

Breaking Bad actor Bryan Cranston hosted the awards ceremony at the Beverly Hilton. His series won the award for outstanding achievement in drama. Comedian Louis C.K won the individual achievement in comedy award for his work on his FX series, Louie.
