(BOISE) – Fiscal year 2012 was another record year for the Idaho Lottery, and $41.5 million are going to benefit public schools in the Gem State. Authorities say its the biggest revenue the lottery has had since it started in 1989. The Idaho Lottery reported sales of $175.8 million last year, and this year’s education payout is nearly double what it was only nine years ago.
