Friday night featured a ton of wrecks that sent half the field home early but with two laps left, Busch pushed Austin Dillon and made a move toward the front.

“I keep saying I grew up 30 years too late, I still haven’t grown up even though I’m 33,” Busch told ESPN.  “Back in the 80s that’s what this team reminds me of, it’s family and you go hard or you go home.”

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. helped Busch get to victory lane after he held off Michael Annett and Dillon near the finish line.

“It’s just a matter of putting yourself in position to win,” Busch said after his car was steaming with 10 laps left. “Tonight, we overcame our damage. We could have folded, but these guys jumped into action and didn’t give up.

Joey Logano finished in fourth but his car failed a post-race inspection and could be penalized next week.
