Medicaid Cuts Hurt Disability Services

(IDAHO FALLS) – Medicaid cuts may be to blame for two local disability service agencies drastically reducing their coverage. Options Inc., an adult day care facility, will close its doors for good at the end of August, leaving 31 people out of work. Transitions Inc. will end most of its services for adults next month as well. Officials say they aren’t receiving enough funding to cover the cost of the services they provide to more than 100 disabled residents in the region.
