Rico Rodriguez, 13, who plays Sofia Vergara’s son Manny; Nolan Gould, 13, who plays Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell’s son Luke; and Ariel Winter, 14, who plays their middle daughter, Alex, are thought to make similar salaries, and as such could receive similar raises, the trade notes.

Sarah Hyland, 21, who plays the Dunphy family’s eldest daughter Hayley, had more credits to her name, so she’s likely already making more, the Reporter points out.

As for the adults, sources close to the negotiations say deals for Vergara, Bowen, Burrell, Eric Stonestreet and Jesse Tyler Ferguson will provide substantial increases over their current third season salaries of $65,000 an episode.

Ed O’Neill was a star before Modern Family, and as a result, was earning more — about $105,000 for the third season.

One source tells The Hollywood Reporter that with bonuses, the cast will be earning as much as $175,000 an episode for the upcoming 22-episode season.  In exchange for the salaries increases, the cast has agreed to extend by one year, their seven-year contracts.  The stars have also agreed to drop the lawsuit they filed against 20th Century Fox.
