Starting pitcher Roy Halladay will come off the disabled list and start on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Halladay has been on the disabled list since May 28 with a strained lat muscle behind his right shoulder. He had been experiencing shoulder discomfort for most of the season but through a strength and conditioning program, he feels ready to return to the mound.

“I feel comfortable that he’s ready,” Phillies pitching coach Rich Dubee told CSNPhilly.com’s Jim Salisbury.

Its been a rough season for the 35-year old Halladay. In 11 starts this season, Halladay is just 4-5 with a 3.98 ERA. He hasn’t has a season with an ERA that high since 2004 when he was a member of the Toronto Blue Jays.
