Pocatello Police Propose Solicitors’ Licenses

(POCATELLO) – The Pocatello Police Department is proposing an ordinance that would require door-to-door sales people to be licensed with the city. The current law requires businesses to pay a $25 fee, which can be used for any number of solicitors. The new ordinance would require each salesman to be registered with the city and wear a photo ID. The proposal will likely be discussed at a city council meeting in the near future.
