Rattlesnake Butte Fire Exceeds 1,000 Acres
(MINIDOKA) – A southern Idaho fire has grown to more than 1,000 acres. The Rattlesnake Butte Fire about 15 miles east of Minidoka was started by lightning Sunday morning. Several engines, air tankers, helicopters, and ground crews were dispatched to the scene by Sunday afternoon. Officials do not have an estimated time for containment.
