Report: INL Unsafe With Explosives

 

(IDAHO FALLS) – A report by the U.S. Department of Energy shows that the Idaho National Laboratory is lagging behind when it comes to safely handling explosives. The inspections revealed that site employees were exposing the general public to potentially hazardous conditions. INL officials say the report was conducted about a year ago, and that precautions have been taken to better ensure safety to the public and employees.
