(TWIN FALLS) – A southern Idaho wildfire has now grown to more than 190,000 acres. BLM officials say the blaze has scorched more than 300 square miles in three days. Crews managed to contain 40 percent of the fire by Monday night, though steady winds in excess of 20 miles per hour and dry temperatures in the upper 90s made battling the blaze difficult. The fire has now spread to the Saylor Creek bombing range near the Mountain Home Air Force Base, and is now considered one of the largest in the nation.
