Soda Springs Bans Fireworks, Pocatello Eases Restrictions

(SODA SPRINGS) – The city of Soda Springs and Caribou County have banned fireworks and open burning within city limits. The town’s public firework show scheduled for Wednesday night has also been cancelled. Officials say extremely dry conditions have made safety the top priority. Meanwhile the city of Pocatello has eased its restrictions to allow fireworks in certain parts of the city between noon and midnight on the Fourth.
