(BEREA, Ohio) — The Cleveland Browns signed the third pick of this years NFL Draft, running back Trent Richardson, to a four year, $20.5 million contract Monday, according to a source of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
The contract is fully guaranteed and includes a $13.3 million signing bonus, according to the source.
Richardson rushed for 1,679 yards and 21 touchdowns last season at Alabama. While at Alabama, the now 21-year-old running back was a part of two BCS National Championship teams.
The Browns will now focus on signing their other first-round pick, quarterback Brandon Weeden.
