Sources: Dragic Headed Back to Phoenix
Published at(NEW YORK) — Goran Dragic didn’t leave Phoenix for long. After playing a little more than a season with the Houston Rockets, Dragic has agreed to sign a four-year, $34 million deal to head back to the Phoenix Suns, sources have told ESPN.
The deal will not be official until July 11, the first day contracts can be signed.
The news came shortly after it was announced point guard Steve Nash was heading to the Los Angeles Lakers.
Dragic played most of three seasons with the Suns. For his career, the former second round pick from Slovenia, has played a backup role.
Last season, Dragic averaged 11.7 points and 5.3 assists per game.
