(NEW YORK) — Forward Steve Novak has agreed to re-sign with the New York Knicks. The new contract is for four years, worth $15 million. The deal cannot become official until Wednesday, when the league rolls out next season’s salary cap.
Novak came to the Knicks last December after the Spurs released him. In 54 games with New York, the 29-year-old averaged 8.8 points per game. He led the league in three-point shooting at 47.2 percent.
Novak has also played for the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers and Dallas Mavericks.
