Study: Smokers Who Quit May Gain Weight
Published at(WASHINGTON) — Nicotine can stimulate brain cells that usually signal people to stop eating when they are full, according to Friday’s edition of Science.
Quitters on average gain less than 10 pounds.
The associate research scientist Yann Mineur of Yale University discovered when mice were administered a nicotine-related substance, they ate less.
