Stan Badz/ US PGA TOUR (BETHESDA, Md.) — Tiger Woods outdueled Bo Van Pelt on the back nine at Congressional Sunday to win the AT&T National by two strokes.

Woods secured his third victory of the season when he parred the final two holes while the 37-year-old Van Pelt bogeyed.

It’s Woods’ 74th career victory, moving him past Jack Nicklaus and into second place on the PGA tour’s all-time wins list.

“It feels great to get to 74 wins,” Woods said. “Obviously passed Jack and I did it at 36 years old. It’s something I’m very proud of.”

With the win, Woods takes the lead in the Fedex Cup standings.
