Tony Stewart Wins Coke Zero 400 At Daytona

Mike Ehrmann/Getty Images(DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.) -- Tony Stewart sped past defending Daytona 500 champion Matt Kenseth on the final lap to win Saturday night’s running of the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway.

Stewart was originally set to begin the race from the second position, but was dropped back to 42nd after his Chevrolet failed inspection.

The victory is Stewart’s 18th at Daytona, but none have come in the Daytona 500.

Jeff Burton, Kenseth, Joey Logano and Ryan Newman rounded out the top five.
