Veteran Comic Actor Fred Willard Arrested
(LOS ANGELES) -- Veteran comic actor Fred Willard was arrested in Hollywood Wednesday night for what TMZ reports was lewd behavior -- specifically, being caught with his pants down in an adult movie theater.
The LAPD Hollywood Division arrest report obtained by ABC News states that Willard, 78, was booked on an unspecified misdemeanor charge at 9:53 p.m. local time and released on $500 bond. No court date has apparently been set.
TMZ reports Willard was apprehended in the Tiki Theater with his genitalia exposed.
Willard is best known for his roles in the films This Is Spinal Tap, Best in Show and Anchorman, as well as Emmy-nominated recurring roles in Everybody Loves Raymond and ABC's Modern Family.
