Graham, 93, was admitted to Mission Hospital in Asheville, N.C., overnight for a possible case of bronchitis, according to a hospital statement.

The pulmonologist treating Graham, David Pucci, said that the evangelist is being treated with antibiotics and his condition is stable, according to the statement.

Last year he was hospitalized for pneumonia.

No date has been set for his discharge.

Graham is known for bringing evangelical Christianity into the mainstream. He has also counseled U.S. presidents from Harry Truman to Barack Obama.

He is currently working on a manuscript for a new book, according to the news release.
