(LOS ANGELES) — Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin’s left knee is healing just fine.

The 23-year-old had arthroscopic surgery in July, to repair a medial meniscus tear of his left knee that he suffered during Team USA’s training camp in Las Vegas on July 11.

Now, less than two-months after the surgery, Griffin is saying he is healthy and ready to play.

“If camp started tomorrow, I’d be ready to go,” Griffin told ESPNLosAngeles.com Tuesday. “I could go now if I needed to.”

Griffin is an important piece to the Clippers success. He helped lead the team to only their third playoff series win this year, and averaging 20.7 points and 10.9 rebounds per game last season.
