Body Pulled from Gem Lake

(IDAHO FALLS) – A man drowned in Idaho Falls Sunday night after falling off a jet ski on Gem Lake. Officials say 59-year-old Kelly Clay was pulled from the south end of the lake near the hydroelectric plant. A nearby boater witnessed Clay and another jet skier fall into the water, but only saw one come up. Authorities say Clay was not wearing a life jacket, though the other jet skier was wearing one. Diving teams from Bonneville and Bingham counties were involved in the recovery.
