Joe Raedle/Getty Images(DALLAS) — Dallas-Fort Worth Airport’s Terminal A has been reopened after a threat was called in for an arriving American Airlines plane Wednesday night.

The incoming plane was American Airlines Flight 1072 from Austin, ABC News affiliate WFAA reported. The plane arrived at 7 p.m. and passengers left the aircraft safely, the station reported.

The areas around gates A19 and A20 were cleared and A21’s security checkpoint was shut down briefly, authorities said. The plane was moved to another part of the airport.

Authorities told WFAA that the, “threat was cleared around 9:30 p.m. after a sweep of the plane.”

Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport spokesman David Magana said the entire incident lasted about an hour and half.

“Operations have returned to normal back at the terminal,” Magana told ABC News Radio.
