Wade made a trip to London to support the team anyway and spoke about how hard it was watching some of his teammates win gold.

“It was very difficult not to be a part of the team,” Wade said on Friday.  “I had to make a smart decision for my career and for the franchise I made a promise to.”

A big reason for his second championship was playing with LeBron James all season long.  Wade has said that James is on the same level as Michael Jordan.

“He’s just playing at a different gear right now, that monkey is off his back and he’s just playing basketball,” Wade said.  “I think we’ll continue to see a better LeBron James, it’s scary to say.”

With the big three in Miami, the Los Angeles Lakers will now have a big four with the additions of Steve Nash and Dwight Howard to go along with Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol.

Wade was asked about the block-buster trade the Lakers made for Howard.

“It’s a very big move for them, they give themselves a chance to win a championship, they’re a very good team,” said Wade.  “Obviously they still have to come together but they have veteran guys who is willing, it’s going to be interesting.”
