ESPN: Dwight Howard Part of Potential Four-Team Deal

NBA?  SQUARESPACE CACHEVERSION=1344545999232National Basketball Association(NEW YORK) — The Dwight Howard trade saga may finally be coming to an end. ESPN and Yahoo! Sports are reporting that the Los Angeles Lakers, Orlando Magic, Denver Nuggets, and Philadelphia 76ers are in talks for a four-team deal that would send Howard to the Lakers.

Also in the potential deal, the Lakers would acquire forward Al Harrington, the Magic would get Pau Gasol and Arron Afflalo, the Nuggets would get forward/guard Andre Iguodala, and the 76ers would receive Andrew Bynum.

Howard has let it be known for some time now that he wants to be traded by the Magic, but there’s no word yet on if or when this deal would go through.

Last season, Howard averaged 20.6 points and 14.5 rebounds per game while Harrington averaged 14.2 points per game.

Gasol averaged 17.4 points and 10.4 rebounds per game while Afflalo averaged 15.2 points per game.

Last season for the 76ers, Iguodala averaged 12.4 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game.

For the Lakers last season, Bynum averaged 18.7 points and 11.8 rebounds per game.
