Boxing fans may still be hoping to see a Manny Pacquiao – Mayweather Jr. fight, but it will no longer be for the WBO welterweight title after Timothy Bradley Jr. took the title on June 9.

Still, while in prison Mayweather’s lawyers and physician said jail food and water didn’t meet Mayweather’s dietary needs, and lack of exercise space in a cramped cell of fewer than 98 square feet threatened his health and fitness. Fans wonder if his time served severely affected his health.

“Thanks for all the support and God Bless to everyone who wrote,” Mayweather Jr. wrote on his Twitter account on Friday.

Police say Mayweather was kept separate for his protection from the other 3,200 inmates in the downtown Las Vegas facility.

Promoters for Pacquiao are planning a fight Nov. 10 at the MGM Grand Garden arena in Las Vegas, Athletic Commission executive Keith Kizer said on Friday. No opponent has been announced just yet.
