Greater Yellowstone Coalition Sues Over ATV Trail

(IDAHO FALLS) – The Greater Yellowstone Coalition is suing over the proposed construction of an ATV trail in Caribou-Targhee National Forest. The Winschell Dugway trail would span a total of eight miles east of the Gray’s Lake Wildlife Refuge in Bonneville County. Opponents argue that the landscape is too fragile to support intensive ATV use. The group filed the lawsuit Tuesday after efforts to appeal the plan failed earlier this year.
