Idaho Unemployment Reaches 3-Year Low
(IDAHO FALLS) – Idaho’s unemployment rate is now one of the lowest in the country. Federal labor officials say Idaho and Rhode Island were the only two states in the nation to post a decline in jobless claims in July. Idaho’s current unemployment rate sits at 7.5 percent, compared to 8.3 percent nationally. Experts say the Gem State has added just over 20,000 jobs in the last year.
