Jacksonville Jaguars To Play 1 Game Per Year In London
Published at(JACKSONVILLE, Fla.) — The Jacksonville Jaguars along with the National Football League announced on Tuesday that the club will be playing one of their home games for four straight years at Wembley Stadium in London, beginning in 2013.
“This is a priceless opportunity to share the business, tourism and lifestyle story of Jacksonville with international audiences, and I know it will give the Jaguars a unique and powerful identity within the league and beyond,” Jaguars owner Shad Khan said in a statement.
The NFL has played one regular season game in London since 2007. The New England Patriots and St. Louis Rams are slated to play in this year’s contest.
