(WASHINGTON) — Jobless claims wrapped up the last week of July climbing to 365,000, the Labor Department reported Thursday.
For the week ending July 28, the number of people filing for benefits rose by 8,000. The previous week, claims stood at 357,000.
The four-week average, meanwhile, dropped by 2,750 to 365,500.
Americans will get a full picture of how the jobs market fared in July when the Labor Department releases its monthly employment report Friday morning.
