(CHICAGO) — For the first time in nearly two years, Peyton Manning played in an NFL game. The four-time MVP, played one series, his first in a Denver Broncos uniform, as the Broncos won their first preseason game of the season Thursday, 31-3, over the Chicago Bears.
Manning finished the day completing 4 of 7 passes for 44 yards while throwing one interception.
“I felt like I had a little rhythm there,” Manning said of his drive. “Some things we can build on. Obviously some things we need to improve on for sure, but overall I thought it was a decent start.”
The Broncos next game is August 18, versus the Seattle Seahawks.
