Mexico Knocks Out Brazil, Wins Men’s Olympic Soccer Gold
Published at(WEMBLEY, England) — Mexican striker Oribe Peralta scored both of Mexico’s goals, as Mexico defeated Brazil 2-1 to win their first Olympic gold medal in men’s soccer, at Wembley Stadium Saturday.
Peralta got the scoring started early scoring 29 seconds into the game. He headed in his second goal off a free kick in the 75th minute.
Brazils’ Hulk scored in injury time, but it wasn’t enough. Brazil still hasn’t won Olympic gold in men’s soccer.
