GETTY E 072612 ModernFamilyCast? SQUARESPACE CACHEVERSION=1346231975617ABC/MARIO PEREZ(LOS ANGELES) — The kids on Modern Family are cashing in on their success, just like their on-screen parents did a month ago.

Deadline.com reports the child actors on the Emmy-winning ABC comedy are finalizing new contracts that will earn them a hefty raise.

The child actors are Rico Rodriguez, 14, who plays Sofia Vergara’s son Manny; Nolan Gould, 13, who plays Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell’s son Luke; Ariel Winter, 14, who plays their younger daughter, Alex; and Sarah Hyland, 21, who plays their eldest daughter, Haley.

According to Deadline, they will receive about a three-fold increase in salary, to around $70,000 per episode.

Agents for another child actor on Modern Family, 5-year-old Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, unsuccessfully tried to renegotiate her salary, too.  Anderson-Emmons joined the cast last season, taking over the role of the adopted daughter of Eric Stonestreet and Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s characters.

Last month, following tense contract talks, the adult cast members agreed to deals that will earn them up to $180,000 per episode for the upcoming season.
