(TORONTO) — The clock is ticking with the NHL collective bargaining agreement set to expire on Sept. 15.
Talks lasted only 90 minutes Thursday after Wednesday’s meeting was called off between the league and the NHL Players’ Association.
The two sides have put two different offers on the table but a wide financial gap still remains.
If they’re unable to reach a deal, the NHL has said there will be a lockout.
