Nicole Polizzi: ‘Snooki’ Gives Birth to Baby Boy

Craig Barritt/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — Pint-sized reality television star Snooki and her fiance, Jionni LaValle, welcomed their baby boy into the world early Sunday morning.
Lorenzo Dominic LaValle was born in a New Jersey hospital, weighing 6 pounds and 5 ounces.
“I am SO IN LOVE with my son Lorenzo Dominic ! I had my little man last night, healthy at 6lbs! HE’S MY WORLD! ❤,” Snooki tweeted.
“The world just got another Guido,” a representative for Snooki said in a statement.
Snooki, whose real name is Nicole Polizzi, rose to fame on the MTV hit series “Jersey Shore.”
The reality star has behaved herself since she announced her pregnancy and engagement to LaValle on a spinoff show, “Snooki and JWoww.”
MTV released a statement this morning congratulating the new parents.
“We couldn’t be happier for Nicole and Jionni on the healthy delivery of their baby boy!” the network said. “We look forward to Lorenzo’s first trip to the Jersey Shore and can’t wait to see his first animal print onesie.”
The last four months of Snooki’s pregnancy will be featured on the next season of “Jersey Shore,” which premieres in October.
